Award Categories

For young crop farmers who have adopted innovation, diversified income streams, and built scalable, profitable farming businesses.

Recognizing excellence in milk production, breed management, dairy processing, and value-added products.

For individuals excelling in commercial poultry, organic poultry, or integrated poultry-based agribusinesses.

Celebrating young leaders building success in inland fisheries, aquaculture, integrated fish-farming, or sustainable marine ventures.

Who Can Apply?

The nominee must be below 40 years of age as of December 1, 2025.
Must be an Indian citizen engaged in full-time farming or allied agri activities.
Must be actively working in one of the four domains: Progressive Farming, Dairy, Poultry, or Fishery/Aquaculture.
Should have a proven track record of success - financially, operationally, or socially.
Nominations can be self-submitted or nominated by another individual/organization.

All entries must be submitted online via the official nomination form before the deadline.
Supporting documents such as photos, videos, income proof, scale of operations, or press coverage may be requested.
A nominee can only apply in one category under the Under 40 Edition.
Final evaluation will be done by an independent jury panel.
The jury’s decision will be final and binding.
Krishi Jagran reserves the right to verify the information submitted in the application. Any false claims may result in disqualification.
Selected finalists may be contacted for interviews or field visits.
By submitting the nomination, the applicant agrees to the terms and publicity rights for media promotion.
Awards will be conferred during the MFOI 2025 Grand Ceremony at IARI Grounds, New Delhi.
